The Doo-Wops and the High C’s Terror

They’re at it again! Lilac Crazy Quartet takes a cruise from San Diego to the Mexican Riviera, expecting to relax in the sun, practice their ‘doo-wop’ music, and bond with their new tenor. Lucy-Bell has replaced their former tenor, Kat, who retired following their harrowing adventure in Hawaii at the B-Flat timeshare.

Plans go awry when Ali – a zealous, radicalized, but not very talented member of an Al Qaeda terrorist cell in Los Angeles – steals a deadly toxin from a U.S. Navy supply ship at Navy Pier San Diego and hides it in a piece of luggage bound for the cruise ship, Vision of the Seas. As luck would have it, the luggage belongs to the quartet’s bass singer, Scarlet.

Ali has been selected by the cell to carry out a dastardly plan to deal a deadly blow to the U.S.A. by placing the toxin in the Colorado River, thereby annihilating all life in the American Southwest.

A handsome but disillusioned Australian Interpol agent has been assigned to find and ‘render ineffective’ the unidentified young terrorist. Both the hunted and the hunter sneak aboard the ocean liner, disguised as members of the crew.

What follows is a series of attempts on the lives of the Crazies, all compounded by the antics of their fellow travelers – the Bistro, Bible, and Boogie Club – which to them means, “Eat, Pray, LIVE!” The inept terrorist Ali seeks to retrieve the deadly toxin, hidden in a can of Triple-X deodorant. The handsome Aussie agent takes the place of a cabin steward named Simon, and his time is divided between attempting to identify the villain while falling helplessly in love with the beautiful Scarlet.

Subsequently, a cat-and-mouse battle ensues between the incompetent young terrorist and the Aussie Interpol agent as Ali tries to recover the toxin which he’s been directed to take to Al Qaeda cohorts in Mexico to be replicated. The quartet can’t seem to get out of the crosshairs of the terrorist, who uses chloroform and subterfuge in his attempts to retrieve the toxin and complete his quest to deal a death blow to the infidels and become a soldier in the Imam’s army.

The Crazy’s vacation changes from their usual Singing, Sightseeing, and Shenanigans to Agents, Assassins, and Anarchy!
